On September 5, 2026 (Saturday), the "2026 SL Fan Festival" will take place at Shimokamai Station. Visitors can enjoy a tour of the normally inaccessible locomotive depot, photography sessions, and exclusive merchandise. This year, the venue is divided into two locations filled with various SL-related experiences.
At the first venue, "Turning Table Square," multiple railway companies will gather for various activities. Additionally, the second venue, "Imaterasu," will feature food stalls showcasing local Nikko ingredients, allowing attendees to enjoy delicious meals while taking in performances on the event stage.
